Lifetime Warranty for Residential Solar Energy System

This Lifetime Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by Okie Solar (“Company”) to the original residential purchaser (“Customer”) of the solar energy system (the “System”) installed at the residential property (“Property”). This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the following components of the System:

Solar Panels: This Warranty covers the solar panels for the entire lifespan of the System at the original Property.
Inverters: This Warranty covers the inverters for the entire lifespan of the System at the original Property.
Racking: This Warranty covers the racking system for the entire lifespan of the System at the original Property.
Wiring: This Warranty covers the wiring for the entire lifespan of the System at the original Property.
Workmanship: This Warranty covers the installation workmanship for the entire lifespan of the System at the original Property.

Duration of Coverage:

This Warranty is effective from the date of System installation and remains in effect for the lifetime of the original residential Customer at the original residential Property.

Exclusions:

This Warranty does not cover the following:

Solar Batteries: Solar batteries are covered by the respective manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to the battery manufacturer’s documentation for details on their warranty coverage.
Generators: Generators are covered by the respective manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to the generator manufacturer’s documentation for details on their warranty coverage.
Damage from External Causes: This Warranty does not cover damage caused by events beyond the control of the Company, including, but not limited to:
- Natural Disasters: Including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions.
- Weather Events: Including but not limited to hail, lightning strikes, severe winds, snowstorms, ice storms.
- Other Exclusions: Including but not limited to: acts of God, vandalism, theft, fire, explosions, war, riots, civil disturbances, negligence by parties other than the Company, animal or insect damage, improper maintenance or neglect by the Customer (including but not limited to failure to keep the System clean), unauthorized repairs or modifications, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
System Relocation or Modification: This Warranty is void if the System is relocated or modified by anyone other than the Company or its authorized representatives.
Transferability: This Warranty is non-transferable. If the original residential Customer sells or otherwise transfers ownership of the residential Property, this Lifetime Warranty is automatically terminated. The remaining manufacturer’s warranties on the individual components (panels, inverters, racking, etc.) will remain in effect, subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Insurance Claims and Repairs:

In the event that damage to the System is covered by the Customer’s homeowner’s insurance policy, the Customer must use Okie Solar for any repair or replacement work covered by the insurance proceeds. Failure to use Okie Solar for such repairs will void this Lifetime Warranty.

Class Action Waiver:

By accepting this Warranty, the Customer agrees that any and all disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to this Warranty, the System, or the relationship between the Customer and Okie Solar, whether based on contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, will be resolved individually, and not on a class-wide, representative, or consolidated basis. The Customer further agrees that they will not participate in or pursue any class action lawsuit against Okie Solar.

Claim Process:

In the event of a defect covered by this Warranty (and not covered by insurance), the Customer must notify Okie Solar in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect. The notification must include a detailed description of the issue and any supporting evidence. Okie Solar will then investigate the claim and, if deemed valid, will repair or replace the defective component(s) at its discretion.

Limitation of Liability:

Okie Solar’s liability under this Warranty is limited to the cost of repairing or replacing the defective components. Okie Solar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the System or this Warranty.

Governing Law:

This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma.

Entire Agreement:

This Warranty constitutes the entire agreement between Okie Solar and the residential Customer regarding the warranty for the System and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
